Pescara Jazz is the name of an international jazz festival that takes place every year in July at Pescara, Italy. When it started in 1969 it was the first Italian summer festival dedicated to jazz music, and it is one of the most important in Europe. In 2009 the 37th edition of the festival to place. It has been going on continuously since 1981, with a five year hiatus.
